Morgan Park, Nenovan Club buildings, Duluth, Minnesota 1916

A historical postcard that shows the three Nenovan Club buildings. They were constructed by the George Lounsberry Company in 1916 as part of the company town built by J. P Morgan, owner of U.S. Steele Corporation. The architecture in Morgan Park was designed by Chicago architects Dean & Dean who had worked with Frank Lloyd Wright. The landscape architecture was designed by Morell & Nichols, the earliest and best known Minnesota landscape architecture firm. Morell & Nichols helped design the landscape for Glensheen and sections of Skyline Drive in Duluth as well as many projects all over Minnesota.
